Most fit-out contractors in the UAE describe joinery as a capability and deliver it as a purchase order. The drawings go out to a workshop selected on price, the workshop makes what it reads, and the contractor sees the result at the same time the client does.
We manufacture at our own premises in Industrial ICAD III, Abu Dhabi. The practical difference is not romance about craftsmanship — it is that a problem found in the workshop is found by people who are answerable for the room it is going into. A detail that will not build gets raised while it can still be redrawn, rather than resolved on site with a bead of silicone.

Why the same company should make it and install it
Joinery fails at the interface. The panel is a millimetre proud of the wall, the counter meets a floor that is not level, the casework is drawn against a column that got built somewhere else. None of these is a manufacturing defect, and none is an installation defect either — which is precisely why they take weeks to resolve when the maker and the installer are different companies.
Ours are the same company. A discrepancy found at installation goes back to a workshop that is on our own payroll and is answerable to the same project manager, so it is a scheduling decision rather than a commercial dispute.
Joinery and furniture, finished to agree
The reason a room reads as designed rather than assembled is usually that the fitted joinery and the loose furniture share a finish. That is difficult to buy and straightforward to make: the same workshop, the same materials, the same batch.
Because we manufacture bespoke furniture in the same facility, a boardroom table can be finished to the panelling behind it and a reception desk to the wall it sits against. A contractor sourcing both from outside can specify a match and hope; they cannot produce one.
