Most fit-out contractors in the UAE are, in practice, management companies. They win the work and subcontract the trades, which means the people on your site were selected on price after the contract was signed, and will be different people on the next job.
That is a commercial arrangement with a safety consequence. Every induction starts from nothing. Method and standard have to be re-established each time. And when something goes wrong, accountability runs through a chain of companies, each of which can demonstrate it met its own contract.
Diamond Sword delivers with joiners, installers, engineers and project managers on its own payroll, working from its own facility in Industrial ICAD III. The same crews come back to the next project. What is learned on one site travels to the next one inside the people who go there.
None of that is a substitute for a safety management system. It is the condition that makes one worth having, because there is a standing workforce for it to apply to.

Institutional clients do not accept a contractor's own account of how it works. They impose their own, and the fit-out is delivered inside it.
Energy operators
Work for ADNOC is carried out under the operator's HSE regime, which governs access, permits and how work is planned before anyone reaches the site.
Healthcare
A hospital adds infection control to everything else, and decides which areas can be worked in, when, and behind what separation.
Government and VIP
Government work adds security clearance and escorted access, which shapes who can be on site and how materials arrive.
Education
A campus hands over to a published date and is then occupied by children, so the programme is written around the academic calendar rather than around the trades.
Our own workshop
Joinery is manufactured at our premises in Industrial ICAD III, where the conditions are ours to set rather than a site's to dictate.
One accountable contract
Because the joinery, the furniture and the installation are ours, there is no seam between contractors for a safety question to fall into.
What we hold
Diamond Sword is a fully licensed UAE contractor operating from Industrial ICAD III, Abu Dhabi. We hold ISO certification for quality management, and we are ICV certified — In-Country Value, a scored criterion on Abu Dhabi government and ADNOC tenders rather than a badge for the wall.
LEED specialists are on staff, so where a project carries a sustainability requirement it is handled inside the delivery team rather than bought in for the bid.
Certificates are issued for a specific tender rather than published here, because a procurement team needs the current document with its expiry, not a picture of one.
Environment
The environmental side of an interiors contract is mostly decided long before anything is thrown away: in what is specified, where it is made, and how much of it has to travel.
Manufacturing in our own workshop means those decisions sit with us rather than with a supplier working to a drawing. Sourcing internationally where a product already exists to specification, instead of making everything, is the same judgement applied the other way.
Where a project is pursuing LEED, the specialists handling it are in the delivery team, which is the difference between a sustainability requirement being designed for and being reported on.
